2009 Brown County Deer Classic
Clay Mitchell has been doing this for 19 years straight !
Team Lodge Member Erik Reich brought his 160 class
buck for display. Man, ... they sure placed it in the right spot.
Here he is ... all proud of his deer. I'll agree Erik, ...
that was the best looking mount in the house.
Grand Master of the evening ... "Alan Koch" ... secures the stage area.
Who's that ducking the camera ??? ( Maybe Sqeek )
The crowd was great ... over 600 people attended.
Extra tables were even set up for the PACKED HOUSE.
Here's the man we call Bruce. Where was Mark ?
In the Beer Tent ... I found out Jennifer Koch puts up with my sister. Sorry Jennifer, I tried to help bring'm up, but those younger sisters were just wild.
Back in the main room ... Alison smiles big
wearing TheLodgeman.com's cap !
The man I know as John even stops for a quick pose ! I hope his wife doesn't find out he took this beautiful young lady to the banquet !
She begged me to take her photo.
Committee member Jeff Kassing and his beautiful Wife smile for me.
Here's my dedication to the fine folks
who came to support the Classic.
I call this ... FACES in the CROWD
Against my protest, ... my camera was wrestled away from
me and I was made to have a photo taken of me.
Tommy Boy tips his hat showing support
for TheLodgeman.com's coverage.
The Grand Master chats it up with Don and Judy Newton.
Rick blocks the line. That dude, ... three guys back is wanting through.
The hardest working man in the building ... Dave Ferrell.
I still hear ... "FREEEEEEEEEE TICKET" in my sleep.
Pretty eyes and a pretty smile ... That's Jeff Kassing's daughter.
Who woulda thunk ?
It's Uncle MIKE !!!
Jamie Rench looks over the prizes.
What ... even Jenny sports TheLodgeman.com's Cap.
I don't think my hat has ever looked better. Thanks Jenny and Alison !
And ... speaking of looking good. Gina (and calendar girl )
wore TheLodgeman.com's hand carved deer
antler earrings! Wow ... how awesome.
I want to thank everyone from the Brown County Deer Classic for putting on a great banquet. Again, it's just the best banquet I've attended. All the photos I took reflect the many fine people who help in some way. Whether big or small in support, it all adds up. Every person attending helped. Through the ticket price, auction buyers, donors, and raffle ticket sales ... everyone plays a part. I tried to take random photos of the people through out the evening, ... showing how much support is provided for the St. Mary's School. If I took yours, ... THANK YOU.
And if I didn't take your photo, ... maybe next year ?
And ... Brown County Hunters ... if you are hunting this upcoming gun season ... remember ... TheLodgeman.com - Taxidermy for your trophy mounting needs. I am a 1980 Brown County Graduate and a supporter of the Brown County Deer Classic. Can your current Taxidermist state that ?
Just a thought ?
