Winter, Ice and the Mighty Mississippi River ...
When the temperatures dip low, and the river freezes over, ... the few open water spots draw in lots of Eagles. These photo came to me compliments of Joe Fryer who works daily on the Mississippi River. Thanks Joey !
With a few spots of open water, ... the Eagles watch ... and watch ...
And when the moment is right or ... the fish is spotted ...
They move in.
Are they holding hands ... or feathers ?
Or fighting for the same meal ?
But they do search the water for their next meal.
