Now, ... my daughter isn't in the contest ... but that is certainly one
huge bass to kick off the 2011 Gallery. She caught this big one last week
on 4 pound test. Fishing for Crappie and Blue Gill one never knows what might grab the hook. She was surprized. It weighed in at 6.5 pounds.
Fishing with Mark Edlin ... we always seem to do great. Here's
one of the three huge flatheads we pulled from the river.
This one was 44" long and weighed in at 45 pounds.
Now there's 3 damn big flatheads !
Capt. Mark proudly holds up one of the
many "Bighead" Asian Carp we caught.
Julie Ball continus to pull in fish after fish ... to see more and
Julie's fishing partner is sure glad to have her helping.
WOW ... is that a large fish.
Maybe one day ... I'll travel to Virginia Beach and see if Julie will
take me fishing ? WOW, ... wouldn't that be a dream come true.

this beauty was nice ... and so was the crappie !
We caught several crappie ... a lot of blue gill and some bass too.
But we were most proud of this 13 inch and larger crappie.
Mmmm Mmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm some good eating.
Whoa ... TheLodgeman caught some crappie too !

These are the "Big Three" of the day. I shot tons of gar & silver Asian Carp but when you knock out a "Big Head Asian Carp" it's like a nice big buck !

My newest fishing partner and I caught a bunch of
crappie, Bass, and Blue Gill for our Gators & Tators III party.
( I felt like crap the next day ) WOW ... what a party.
We tested the motor out for about an hour, ... we're getting the
boat all fine tuned for the summer. Outlaw, Boomer and
myself managed to stick a few while working on the boat.
Young Daniel lands a huge bass ... I think Les said it went 7 pounds !

Our very own 2011 January Outdoor Girl - Deidra Bridger
landed this Bull Shark earlier this year down in Florida.
I think we'll be getting many fishing photos from her.
These 5 photos came from ... "Chapman" and those are some big
bass ! Well, as the entries go, Mr. Chapman just landed 5 entries.
