Hey all ... the 2008 Brown County Deer Classic is in the books. Yep, stick a fork in it, ... it's done. I had a great time ... I got to visit with many friends that I hadn't seen for many years. TEAM LODGE was well represented as well, ... as Eric Reich, Rick Reich, and Myself made the outing. Here are some random photos taken through the evening. And ... we have a new Outlaw / LODGE girl. She's a beautiful gal and ... willing to help in the making of our calendar.
I think we can all agree, ... here is Mr. Brown County Deer Classic himself ... Dave Ferrell. Dave is a great auction helper ... as his confirmation of a bid increase is undeniable. " YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS "

Above left is good friend and Class buddy Dave McNeff and on the right, ... my Team Member tries to look away while I snap his photo. I'm still waiting on Eric to provide photos of his many successful hunts. I'm telling ya, ... Eric is one hard core hunter and ... gets the job done. Why hasn't he called Kayla the LODGE girl yet ? Eric, she won't wait for ever.
Here ... "The Sledge Hammer" tries to talk this young boy out of his raffle tickets. The Ole Sledge saw he had some gun raffle tickets and he quickly tried to trade them for his cap. Luckily, ... the boy knew what to do and Sledge Hammer was foiled.
Chloe, after seeing The Sledge Hammer's tactics ... starting memorizing her numbers in case he somehow got ahold of hers.
Above ... left is Harry LeMaster from good ole Versailles, IL. Now Versailles is God's Country. Harry is a great client who I've had the pleasure to mount many fine trophies for. Harry is one heckofa hunter and just a good ole boy. Right is Jim Gregory. Ole Jimbo is a classmate and fine outdoorsmen as well. Jim also was one heckofa Football player. He was one of the toughest players we had.
I think Outlaw is explaining to Jimbo the finer points of Antler Lamp creating. While Dan Newton is so bored of the wisdom being passed that he bows his head and ponders how these two even graduated way back in 1980. ( is that rim and net hanging from Outlaw's cap ? )

OK OK OK ... I realize beauty can appear from anything ... as my Daughter and I are examples of that too. Maybe ... it's the name ? Could it be guys named Jeff .... simply have beautiful daughters ? These two ... well, one is Sam Reich ... and his buddy. ( I forgot his name ) But these two dudes were fun to have sitting with us. Yes , ... a couple of nice young men.
And here ... St. Mary while at St. Mary's is trying to tell me that she drank 5 beers , .. and only five. I said, ... I thought it was six, ... and she expressed very clear, ... nope only five.
The SLEDGE Hammer ... laughs as St. Mary tries to convince us.
And speaking of St. Mary's ... Father Tom enjoyed the night and won himself a nice print. Did I tell you folks, ... this Deer Classic benefits the St. Mary's School. Yeah, ... that's right ... the hunters and sportsmen and women of Brown County put on the BEST banquet you'll find. They served 600 hungry people in 23 minutes. That's organization. The prizes are top quality and the people are simply awesome.
Now speaking of awesome people ... Gina here, with her brother ... is an awesome gal. Do you see the earrings she is wearing ? OK , ... the one you
can see, ... yep ... it's a LODGE special ... Deer Antler Art ... custom carved mushroom. Now, ... here is the best part, Gina wants to be a Outlaw / LODGE girl. So, ... I think we'll be seeing more of Miss Gina.

Yeah, ... That's quite beautiful, ... oh, and the earrings are too. Yep, we can count on Gina being part of the Outlaw gang and or Lodge Girl in the future. Thanks Gina for wearing the Earring and passing cards out.

OK, ... I lied. This gal ... I mean come on, ... brought us Beer. How can you get any more perfect than that ! A pretty gal, a pretty smile ... and bringing Beer to our table. She's awesome.
