Buddies Robert Griffin and Larry Fair came back to BC Outlaw for some April Hog Hunting Fun.
Above Outlaw and Grif are all smiles as Grif took out this huge boar on the first evening. Rick called me about a week prior and said he and another buddy Corey, ... were scouting and saw this Black spotted boar. We aggressively started a program to keep him in the area and hoped the neighbors would not shoot him first. I even scouted one evening and spotted this brute. I couldn't believe it when Grif actually called and stated that he shot it that first night!
Rick give his signature salute, as Grif can't stop smiling. Grif told us that this big boar came down over the hill ... passed by his blind, ... then turned and came running straight at him. Without using his scope, ... he shot this boar heading straight at him at 5 steps. I'm sure Grif's heart was racing. This Boar weighed in at 400 pounds. Great BOAR Grif ... and great shooting.

The next morning, ... Larry ran into a pack of feral hogs working around the pond. With help from Grif, ... Larry took out three of them. The Black hog is a nice 175 pound boar, while two others were sows removed from the herd.
At the Barn, ... Outlaw is getting a lesson from Grif. Look at how intently Outlaw is staring and firguring out what Grif is doing.
Outlaw realizes that his entire life ... he has been cleaning game all wrong. Thanks to Grif ... Outlaw has learned something. ( I told him he was wrong all along )

The Barn Party
Once the lights go on ... it's hard to tell who might drop by. You see, ... when the lights are on ... that means successful hog hunting has happened. The slide show has several BC residents stopping in for a look, a beer, and just good fellowship ! Thanks for dropping in ... Doug, Wendi, Morgan, Erik, Jerrik ... and to Jim Ward on Saturday morning !
Now, ... This Lodge-Girl was bet, ... that she couldn't down her beer without stopping, ... and to our surprise she turn to Outlaw and stated boldly, ......
"I can down this can in 5 seconds!" Oh, ... I said ... bet's on baby ...
With that .... BAM .... she slammed that beer in only 4 seconds. WOW is all I can say. That LODGE-Girl ROCKS !
Though Grif was the lucky hunter who took this huge boar, ... Larry, on the right, ... last year harvested a monster that he had mounted. Thanks Larry and Grif for coming up and enjoying a BC Outlaw hunt again.
