Gators and Tators II ... stick a fork in it , ... it's done.
We had a blast with 50 plus people turning out enjoying the afternoon and evening. Thanks to all that stopped by. I enjoyed the time together. And ... between cooking and talking ... I took random photos, but with so many coming and going ... I missed many. So, sorry to those, but enjoy the ones I
did capture.
I'll open with Ed Hendrick's daughter. She was waiting on Outlaw to fry those tators all night. Ed & Susan sure are proud of her , ... and they should be.
And here ... I'm getting ready to fire up the cookers.
Here ... above, is the GUEST of Honor ... Mr. Renegade ... Ed Schneider.
LODGE Team members Rick ( Outlaw ) and Todd ( Todd Bob ) meet for the
first time.
We have the lawn chair crew hiding in the dark. Susan, ... seated front, ... thought, ... Hmmm, if I don't make eye contact , ... maybe he'll bypass taking
my photo. ( she was wrong ) And cousin Mark ... quickly took my photo while
I was taking his. Mark ... send me that one !!!
As the afternoon gave way ... the straw bales were a fitting place to gather ...
LODGE Team member Joe McDaniel stare at a UFO .... wondering if he
should notify the crowd ?
I used the Gator skin as my table cloth ... we had Gator Chili, Fried Gator,
Bass fillets, Wild turkey, home made hush puppies, and Outlaw's famous
and crowd favorite Tator Chips ... and Mmmm Mmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmm are they good.
And to my surprise and delight .... This Darling VOLUNTEERED to be a LODGE-Girl. Sorry all you single guys, ... she married to one fine Man. I was sure pleased they stopped in for GT-II !!! ( name withheld at models request : )
Fred Clifford won't believe what his deer has been up to ! While, Tracy ... my favorite Sister in law that attended ... was also PROUD to be a LODGE-Girl.
This Lil Darling stares in amazement at a deer rack on the wall. She made me promise too to keep her off the site. ( I didn't listen well ... but her name is withheld as requested )
These gals were having some fun out at the fire ... I'm not sure what was
going on ....
But Tracy, Todd, and KC all stood back ... keeping their distance.
Naomi, Sarah, and Emily stopped in for a photo in the Shop !!! And ... here, Ed and his wife Janel appear to be watching the events out at the fire ring.
Todd's wife Janet is enjoying conversation with Janel , ... Ed's wife. I sure was glad that Todd and Janet made it out. Both were great and I'm looking forward to having fun in the future. ( Janel is simply a Saint for being Ed's better half )
Back outdoors .... they can't stop having a good time.
Outlaw watches in HORROR ... as Ed shows Dan Newton that a trap clamped on his hand doesn't hurt as long as you've had enough beer !!! ( Ed held a mini trap class .... ( Dan attended )
LODGE-Girl Kayla brought future LODGE-Girls .... Amber and Brittany out for some Gator and Tator Fun. And ... this trio got into the spirit too !!!
We rounded out the night .... with Boomer and Toni along with Jeff Six and his wife, Jamie showing up pulling the late shift. Left to right ... Jeff Six, Boomer, Myself, and LODGE-Dog Casey.
Me and the LODGE-Dog had a long night .... Casey helped set up , ... he didn't bring the live music ... but did burn several CD's for our listening pleasure.
With that .... I'll end this long photo parade with a photo taken by Toni. You
see, ... Toni took my camera away from me, ... wanting no photos of her. I
was too tired to fight her , ... as without a doubt, ... she would have easily whipped me bad. I even promised I'd post my own photos.
A big thank-you goes out to everyone that attended. I realize I missed many folks ... but I was busy cooking and many got away before I broke out the camera. ( is that by accident? ) Anyway, ... Sean Meek cooked some Great tators before Outlaw arrived, ... and Deea, his wife helped by showing folks around while my wife, Anne was gone. My own Mom & Dad escaped my camera, ... along with Florence and Mary .... my ladies down the road. Ed Hendricks .... too escape my commentary ... but maybe I'll get another
chance. At any rate .... THANKS to everyone that stopped in.
