Meet the Kiesgen's ...
Gordy and Brian with son's Gordon and Ben
Gordy brought down his brother Brian, ... and their kids for a wet and wild morning of hunting. With rain in the air along with hail, thunder and lightning ... son's Ben and Gordon managed to connect on a pair of hogs and have fun doing it.
Once the storm broke ... the sun came out and all was well.
Check out the photos of the morning these two youngsters had.
Here, ... Ben kneels beside his black hog taken with a shotgun and slugs. Ben placed one shot directly into the rib cage for a clean pass through and dropped his hog in it's tracks. Ben had a close encounter too ... as the hogs slipped up over the hill and got very close before he could take his shot.
Gordon, ... after a short tracking job placed one follow up shot to bring down this grey, black and brown hog. Gordon's hog got in the brush and made for a fun retrieval. Young Gordon was glad to see it fall.
Thanks to Gordy and Brian Kiesgen and their sons for coming down and hunting in some pretty tough conditions. We had mud, rain, hails, lightning, thunder and most important ... we had FUN.
If you want to hunt some hogs, give us a shout. We have a few open dates before summer sets in and we take a break until fall.
