WOW is all I can say. She is one truly awesome Outdoor Lady ... and we are proud to feature her as our Outdoor Girl of the Month for January 2010.
You know, ... I could write and write on all Julie's successes, ... and she has so many. Each week I've added new photos of her different catches, different locations, and that's speaks for itself. The ole saying, "a photo is worth 1,000 words", ... well we've enjoyed a novel thanks to Dr. Julie Ball.
This lady is truly amazing ... Julie Ball can catch the fish.
My question to the good Doctor is this ...
How many different bikinis do you have ?
The GOOD Doctor
Julie Ball learned to fish at a early age ... around 5. She knew early on that she had an affinity for the sport of fishing. As a youngster, she would follow her brother to the neighborhood pond to catch bream on hot dogs and bread. As a teenager she would sit in a lounge chair on the Pensacola Beach with a fishing rod, while other teens would suntan, windsurf, or jet ski. While in Dental School in Gainsville Florida, Dr. Ball would opt to drive to Jacksonville, FL and fish for Reds off the jetties when her Mother came to visit. She also credits her Mother for teaching her how to fish as a youngster and says ... " My Mom is my hero and I love her for taking the time to expose her children to something we will also treasure."
One thing that impresses me about Dr. Ball is her strength. Being
in shape and staying fit is required for hauling in those big fish.

Another thing is ... she catches big fish and small.
Or better said, ... Julie just catches them all.

And ... she does it with grace, beauty and elegance.

Dr. Ball's passion is very inspiring.

Here, she's releasing a flounder ... one of the many species she has landed.
Speaking of different species of fish, here is a fact you might like to know about Dr. Julie Ball. During her Virginia Expert Saltwater Angler quest she caught these 15 different species: Striped Bass, Speckled Trout, Black Seabass, Grey Triggerfish, Blueline Tilefish, Tautog, Flounder, Red Drum, Black Drum, Cobia, Bluefin Tuna, Sheepshead, Amberjack, Shark, and Bluefish. Needless to say, Julie is one awesome gal. I'll add new facts and photos about Julie each week ... so look back often. If you want to learn more of Julie Ball ... visit her site www.drjball.com
