June's OGM is a Deer hunter, Turkey hunter and likes about anything outdoors. Best of all, ... this gal even likes the Chicago CUBS. Right there scored some huge points with The Lodgeman. Now, I realize the CUBS are the CUBS. But, ... once a fan as a child ... you can never change.
Anne, ... comfortable outdoors in any setting.
June 21st Update ...
Miss June, ... Anne King joined, ... yours truly this past spring for her
first Turkey hunt. Well, needless to say, ... she and I had a great time. In
her first first three days we mananged to take three birds. She harvested
her first, she saw me harvest one, ... and listened to my son work a bird
on her final morning. We sat across the field, knowing Joe was winning
the battle as the only birds gobbling that morning worked to his calls and
we heard the one lone shot. Regardless, Anne enjoyed a three day
weekend where each day had birds gobbling and working to our calls.
Here are a few photos taken during that weekend. Anne was great.
I hope she and I can enjoy future hunts too.
June 14th Update ...
I might have to admit, ... but I might be a little jealous of that dog.
Anne loves to fish, ride horses, ride the mechanical bull ...
and she loves to deer hunt down in my neck of the woods. Might
I add, ... that her 2009 IL Scott Co 9 pointer is an impressive buck
too. I'm also proud to say I took care of mounting it for her as well.
June 7th Update ...
Anne ... just hanging out having fun.
As we all wait for the fall hunting season to arrive, ... maybe you'll
enjoy some candid photos from Anne. She and her dog spend
a great deal of time playing outdoors. Ain't he a lucky dog!
And ... This Outdoor Girl and I had a great time chasing Turkeys this past season in Scott County Illinois. Needless to say, ... we did good !
Here, ... Anne poses inside the wall at Wrigley Field. With Summer
here and baseball in full swing, she makes a great Outdoor Girl for
June. The CUBS are hanging back ... still somewhat close so I'll
root for the Cubs along with Anne hoping for the best.
Now, ... Outdoors Girls that love the BEARS gain points too !
Being a Chicago Fan ... Miss Anne takes in a few football games too.
Gotta like a gal like that !
And ... she can stand toe to toe shooting trap as well.
This Outdoor Girl enjoys all outdoor activities.
Anne King, ... she's just an active gal. From Hunting, fishing,
baseball, football, Trap Shooting and skiing ... she can do it all.
( and quite well might I add )
