Team Lodge
is ...
Whacking the Turkeys !
Lonnie Foust, Jason Donovan and Kampp Outdoors have been
having some fun. With Kampp calls set up for the 2010Spring Season,
I called on team members to step up and put them to use. If you want to learn more about Lonnie, Jason or Kampp Calls ... just click below.
( Lonnie ) ( Jason ) ( Kampp )
Lonnie Foust is from Canton, Missouri and is one of the best hunters I
know. He bags his turkey or turkeys each and every year. Lonnie, using
the Kampp Mouth call ... brought this huge Missouri Gobbler in close.
He said, ... " Like I had him on a string ".
Yeah, ... he said "Kampp Calls were that good."
Lonnie also credits Kampp Calls for finding these mushrooms too ? I don't know about that, I mean come on, ... Ray Charles could have found them !
Lonnie recently came back from a Florida vacation where he took in a some hog hunting while there. He sent me some great photos. So, check them out.
Here are some random photos that I thought were cool.
Lonnie has his cell phone in hand ... reporting
"BLACK HOG DOWN"
Meanwhile ... Jason was out in Illinois looking for a
turkey with his first of three permits.
Jason while walking with the Full Moon ... does well using his Kampp Calls.
Jason says, ...
"Man that custom cedar box call from Kampp worked beautifully"
Now, I'm thinking ... did Jason call in the gobbler or did it think it found
his twin brother. Seriously, are those two fans not beat to hell ? At any
rate, ... Jason is one outstanding hunter from Illinois. I had no doubt he
too would score well while testing Kampp Outdoors calls. He really
does love the box call and said it works great.
Kampp Outdoor Products and TheLodgeman.com are off to a great start. If anyone is counting ... we are up to 9 birds with two weeks to go and several people yet to hit the woods as the 4th season is just started and the 5th
is yet to come. Missouri has a week left so, ... we're looking to double that number. ( actually, ... Casey and I took birds in the 2nd and 3rd and will post later. ) Thanks again Doug for setting Team Lodge up with some great calls.
