With Turkey Season in full swing, ... our selection for Outdoor Girl of the Month during this time is easy. Shannon Gillette is an accomplished archer and will harvest several gobblers each season with her Mathews bow.
Originally from Dillsboro, Indiana is Shannon. This young lady has experience way past her years. She and her crew not only hunt, but
film their hunts. Being a professional Archer and Hunter is one thing,
but she also films and logs many hours in the field each season.

May 24th Update ...
This beautiful young lady shows she can be all girl and hunt with the best
of them. Shannon makes the choice easy for selecting her as our Outdoor Girl for the Month of May ... she's cute, fun, and as real as it gets.

Now, ... here's a lady after my own heart. I love to whack a hog
every now and then and this boar is one nasty looking hog.
I think Miss Shannon's smile says she likes hunting hogs too !

Bow Shoot she attends. This award winning archer uses her skills in the field too. She has harvested some very impressive whitetails along with
her many turkey archery harvests. This gal is the real deal.

May 17th Update ...
These week, ... we have more candid photos of Miss Shannon ... saving her best for last. This Outdoor girl has taken Pope & Young Whitetails, Wild Boar, Turkeys and who knows what else with her bow. So, ... you won't want to miss all of her fantastic photos ! I think the ones in this week's gallery are very cool though ... Shannon is currently active in some Archery shoots ... and maybe we'll sneak in a few bonus photos too !

May 10th Update ...
This week, we focus on Shannon's fun side. Although she is an accomplished hunter and archer, this young lady is outgoing and fun.

This Outdoor girl can shoot a bow. She wins awards annually.

I personally appreciate this lady's talent. I love to hunt and call turkeys. Using archery equipment makes the task much more difficult.
Filming hunts usually means taking turns to hunt. Shannon
and the team are very dedicated to successful filming.

Now, being a lady hunter you still got to have a pink call don't you ? Speaking of calls ... Shannon has many Sponsors backing her like

Maybe it's not the calling that draws those birds into bow range, ...
maybe it's her eyes ?
Or, ... maybe it's the flip flops and blaze orange toe nails ?
Whatever the reason this Outdoor Girl has great success
