The Pair rode in for a
HOG WILD Weekend !
I'm not sure if this was the hog hunting they had in mind ...
but Harley Hogs were running wild.
This bike caught our eye as we drove through town. That's a nice hog.
Whoa .... I'm thinking the hunting is starting off pretty good.
Well, ... looks like that one got away ... maybe we better head out to the stands and try our luck there instead of on the streets of Mt. Sterling ?
Before the sun had set, ... RV and Dan make their way to the blinds.
And, ... as luck would have it ... they each release arrows
and bring down these 200 pound plus nasty hogs !
RV points across the creek ... where they came from. With the grass
and weeds tall, they had to wait for them to cross into the dirt road for a
clear and close shot. One hog, ... after taking an arrow turned and came
after them. Dan, ... RV's son in law, ... says " I never saw Pop run so fast"
Dan on the left took a 210 pound black hog, while RV's brown hog
tipped the scale at 230 pounds. Now that's something to squeal about !!!
Ole Outlaw came in and helped get these two brutes back to the barn.
As Rick drives away, ... RV and Dan can't help
but smile from their successful evening.
Rick too gives his approval for removing a couple more
nasty hogs and drives on to the Barn ...
And ... back at the barn ... well, let's just celebrate.
We had several locals drop in seeing the lights were on
... and I think a party broke out !
Before RV and Dan left ... they gave us their signatures on the
"Hunter Banner" and ... we Thank You guys for coming out !
