March Hog hunting ...
...in Texas
I enjoyed a little get away to the "Hill Country" of Texas.
This area of Texas ... has hills, river bottoms, and a great view as the
sun came up. I could see a long ways from this ridge top.
I love seeing new places, and this area was very interesting.
From my tripod blind ... I was watching the trails leading to the feeder.
I always pack my camera, ... and this Cardinal stopped in for a visit.
I think was was sitting very still, as these buzzards thought
maybe I was their next meal ?
Above my stand, ... they seemed to gather.
Through the trees and brush, ... I could watch the feeder.
And as the sun was setting, ... this young boar came out for a little corn supper. ( his last supper ) If you want to hunt hogs, ... give me a call or drop me a note, ... I can set you up close to home or in Texas.
