Welcome to the 2008 Trap-line Review ...
Here's a collection of photos ... and if you like to trap ... well I think you'll like what you see.
Above ... Ed Schneider shows off a large Western MO. Bobcat. ( or maybe part Leopard ) WOW, that's one beautiful pattern. Ed tells me it's a blue back !!!
Here ... CMAC poses with a coyote on the Morgan Co. trap line.
Justin Schneider shows that racoons are often caught in coyote sets.
Yeah, and the Lodgeman even set a trap in the right place.
This Bobcat wishes he'd walked past Ed's set while Erik prepares to dispatch a dog
in Brown Co.
Here ... the " FOX WHISPERER " calms a nice red down ... I think The Fox Whisperer actually talked this fox into walking into the set the day before ?
Rick ... AKA " FOX Whisperer" ... has this fox in a trance.
A night at Waverly Mo. in the FUR SHED of Ed Schneider's will have you understanding exactly how serious these guys are !
The yotes above know , .... this ain't good ....
The two photos above show Migul, Hemi and Ed ... working on the stretching process.
Justin Schneider poses with a nice RED Fox .... caught on the Missouri line.
Here ... the SLEDGE moves in to release this coyote. The fur wasn't of good quality, therefore Outlaw called the the "Coyote Whisperer" ... Doug The SLEGDE Hammer. Doug waves the yellow stick until the coyote falls asleep. He then moves in quickly to remove the trap.
LOOK out Doug .... he woke up .... get away ! GET AWAY you crazy man !!! That coyote will bite your ass.
Outlaw and Mr. Trapper .... Rich Thurman discuss the finer point of trapping. Rich is a Norther IL trapper and one heckofa nice man. Nice to meet you Rich and share the evening.
The evening at Ed's was a fun night .... here are L-R Josh, Rick, Myself, and Rich Thurman.
Josh and Ed are having fun trapping together this season and to date .... over 20 coyotes have been caught, 5 Bobcats, many Coons and many more Possoms. I know Josh packed in several possoms the next morning from his line.
I couldn't have spent a night with a better group of guys. Thanks Ed for having Outlaw and Myself stop by and help run your trap-line.
