Wyoming ... 2009
With snow blowing, colder than normal temperatures, ... we enjoyed a week of hunting in the State of Wyoming. Old friends and new, we had a good time. I hope you enjoy the photos from our week.

Josh ... walks steadily up a slope after searching for deer in the canyons.

Above ... Team LODGE's Jessica Edd smiles as the snow falls.
And below ... enjoy the photos from her successful Antelope and Turkey hunt. Jessica also tested out TimberHawk's gear and loved it. Jessica tells me, it's all she will use. Thanks TimberHawk for helping us out.
Jessica's Antelope was a thick mature goat sporting 13.5 horns. She harvested her first every turkey too! She hunted with her friend JR near Douglas. Maybe a spring IL hunt is in order ?

Team LODGE's Shantane ( and former OGW too ! ) had some great 2009 Wyoming deer hunting success too, ... while we were out there !

This brute was recovered the next morning ... after a hard night of looking. Sure glad it was cold out! I know Shantane was sure glad it was found!

Shantane also guided her sister Monica with this nice 3 X 3.

This hunt was a family affair ... awesome hunt Monica !

Josh ... a great guy and new friend searches the snow covered hills for Deer or Antelope.
Above ... Josh enjoys success with Deer and Antelope. Josh's antelope was very unique. It had one side going 14.5 while the other side was broke off and growing back like a club. ( very cool buck )
Below ... Boomer raises his hands after connecting on a 250 yard shot.

Boomer broke out his new gun "Black Betty" and it was one awesome shooting 25.06. Boomer's antelope was a high pronged beauty going nearly 14 inches.
Jason Donovan scores on a dandy 4 X 4 !

This Mule Deer was a nice one. It even had a "double White Patch" to boot !
visit Jason's site at Donovan Taxidermy.
Jason's Antelope was a nice "Heart Shaped" one with 13" horns. He also managed to shoot a Prairie Dog with all this snow.
With a stroke of luck ... I managed to connect on a near 16" Snow-Goat.

I was glad to see everyone have a good time ... and we all enjoy a week of hunting, but better than that, we all got to know each other just a little better. We had a good camp with good friends. It just doesn't get any better than that ! Thanks ... Boomer, Josh, and Jason.
Here's some photos from our area ... hope you enjoy.

2009 Wy. Hunting trip, with snow falling everyday, it was simply beautiful.
