John Block and buddies hunt with BC Outlaw !!!

We've had rain and storms for what seems like ... forever. But, ... that didn't stop the Block Crew from hunting.

John Block enjoyed the evening up in the dry barn, ... while Jerry, Michelle, and Roy were out hunting.

John Shot the first hog ... and elected to come on back and help Rick and I hang and clean it. But, ... this was the view from the barn,

Here, ... a DRY ... John Block stands with a nice young boar. This hog went about 125 pounds. That's a DRY 125.
Staying dry at the barn was getting harder  .... as it kept coming down.
Jerry and Michelle came back after Michelle shot a pair of hogs with maybe 4 shots, ... or 8 ? Jerry seems to thinks Michelle miscounted how many times she fired.
John explains to Michelle , ... that at the barn, ...  we heard what we thought was machine gun fire.
To which, ... brought quite a bit of laughter to all.
Local Hog hunter Greg Howard stops in and can't believe anyone would be hunting on such a bad day. Outlaw explains, ... you can't kill one sitting in the truck.
Here, ... I explain how to play the piano. ( Thanks Rick for the photo)
And I tell Outlaw to ... Stop it!

Michelle's Black Boar was a beauty. It had thick shoulders, ... and went close to 200 pounds. She shot this brute between the rains. And by rains ... I mean down pours.

Roy .. stands by his Hog shot the next morning ...

Jerry, the next evening ... with the rains gone ... took down the biggest hog. This muddy nasty boar, was pushing near 300 pounds. Needless to say, ... Jerry was all smiles. As he was the last one to harvest a hog. And, ... it only took him one shot.
Here, ... three successful hunters admire the beast that Jerry shot. Roy, Jerry, and John agree, this hog was the biggest.
Jerry starts to clean this BC Outlaw .... "Nasty Hog"
And .... as the weekend ended, ... the storms were done. John Block's crew hunted in the worst weather and still harvested 5 hogs. Several photos didn't turn out because of the weather, ... but 5 hogs with a average weight of about 175. That's a good weekend of hunting.
