Hey all , ... Ole LODGEMAN and LODGE Jr. hit the Pond near the house and man were the Blue gill biting. I was wanting to add some more "flavor" to the Gators & Tators this Saturday ... and we caught 70 fish in about hour. Many of these Blue Gill were 9" to 10" long. I mean , ... WOW ... these were some real hogs for Blue Gill.
So, ... add to the Gators & Tators .... about 10 pounds of Blue Gill filets .... Mmmm Mmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
So, ... as I say ... here's the photos .... and as you can see .... I ain't pulling your leg.

Yep, ... here's the stringer .... it was getting full , ... so we got the cooler out too !!!
We started fishing at 6:30 in the evening, ... and by 7:30 ... we had 70 fish caught, Now, I realize it's Blue Gill ... and it ain't hard to catch them , ... but there is something about spending time with your children, ... NO MATTER WHAT AGE .... that is good for the soul. So, ... take a kid hunting, fishing, or just throw the baseball around. Spending time together is NEVER a bad thing. Time spent with a kid is time well spent.
Yeah, ... Ole LODGEMAN even got in the picture too .... And I'll tell ya, ... it took longer to clean these fish than it did to catch them !!!
