Hello all ....
Here we have friends Keith and Wes Carnley. I met this Father & Son
team in Nashville, TN in 2007. We got together through the excitement
of the Silver Phase Gobbler. It was quite apparent that Keith and Wes
loved to hunt turkeys, and anything for that matter.
Keith, Wes and the other MAGNIFICENT 7 just wrapped up a super dove
hunt with Scott Rankin of Ultimate Hunt LLC earlier this month. Keith
has been living in TX, but is moving back up north to TN in Oct. Hopefully, ... Keith, Wes and Ole Lodgeman can get together for a TN Spring turkey
hunt in 2009.

Here's the Dove - MAG 7 ... minus Wes, who's taking the photo. Keith
said it took him and Wes about a box and a half of shells to finally get
used to those high, fast flying "white wing" dove.

Wes shows off his Central IL gobbler on his first trip up to Morgan Co.
It rained all morning and Wes, Keith, and myself were wetter than a raw
hide bone after a 3 month old puppy got done with it. But , ... even through
the rain, the mud, and the nasty wind , ... Keith called up this AWESOME
bird. It had 1 1/2 spurs, and even a DOUBLE BEARD. Wes sure was excited. Well, ... so too were Keith and I , ... and like I say ...
Take a kid hunting, fishing or just spend the time doing something , ... it's
time well spent. ( Wes is looking all grown up now , ... but hey ... he's still
and will always be Keith's kid )
