the other night. Sam Reich has an awesome Black & Tan hound so, ...
Outlaw, Eric Reich, and myself thought we'd take the young dog out to
see if it could run a coon trail. Well, ... you can see by the photos ... Young
Jack is well on his way to becoming the most sought after coon hound
in Brown County ... well maybe all of Illinois ?
You see ... if the young dog did well ....  
Jack ... raced out across the corn field and put these three up a tree in
record time.  I went back to the truck for a knife, ... while Jack snapped this photo. I know
it's a little fuzzy, but it's not bad for Jack's first time. 
Here ... I give the Outlaw Salute ... as Jack pouts because Rick took the
camera away from him. These next two photos are of Good Friend Rod Nicholson and Bill
Conklin. Our Goose season came in this morning, ... Nov. 24th and we
found ourselves limited out in the first 15 minutes of the season. I called
Rod stating I know where the geese are feeding. We sat up and just like clockwork ... we had a flock around us at shooting time. After the
shooting was over ... 6 geese were at our feet. Awesome shooting Rod
and Bill. ( those two are the Goose calling Pro's )  That's Bill Conklin on the left , ... and Rod Nicholson on the right. 
I'm looking forward to more goose hunting with Rod and Bill. We should
put many more on the ground in the coming days. |
