Hey All ... this past weekend .... Team LODGE held another " Take a Kid Fishing" day. Ole Lodgeman was pleased to have help from Staff member's ... Outlaw - Rick Reich, NE Missouri's - Joey Fryer and Lodge Jr. Joe McDaniel. These three help manage the young ones and without their help .... ole Lodgeman would have been overtaken.
For the Day ... we had Mason Fryer, Trey Fryer, Sam Reich, Chloe Reich, Saint Mary, Sassy Sarah, Joe Mac, Joey F, Outlaw, and Lodgeman. Check out our fun ...
Putting on the worms ... Mason says , .... I LOVE TO FISH.
Mason shows off his 12 inch Crappie. He's too young to appreciate the catch .... but that's one nice crappie , I don't care what anyone says.
A basket full of Blue GIll, Crappie and some Bass .... Mmm Mmmmm Mmmmmmm ... Trey says ... they're going in my belly.
We caught nice Blue Gill all day.
We discussed it , ... Mount or Eat Trey's 13 inch Crappie ... Joey even called fellow North East MO. buddy " Lonnie Foust " - & Master Fisherman to get his opinion .... Lonnie said mount , ... while we agreed ... let's eat him. So, the fillet knives were pulled out and this Crappie was dropped in the HOT GREASE!
Trey ... tried his best to let this fish escape. He reeled 3 or 4 times, ... dropped the pole, wouldn't let anyone help, and even started walking the pole up the bank. But, ... this 13 inch Crappie stayed hooked and he brought it in. Lonnie Foust was called for mounting opinions, but again we all voted to EAT ... rather than keep and in the HOT GREASE it went . Mmmm Mmmmm Mmmmmmm
These Blue gill were real nice .... These Boys are holding them to the side ... not pushed out front .... For Blue Gill .... These are real HOGS. These two fine fishermen are .... in the CUB Blue shirt Sam Reich and in the red .... Mr. Mason.
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Sarah & Joey for coming over and hanging out with me, and so too does my THANKS go to Rick & Mary for joining too.
Our fish fry was great and Outlaw cooked up some dandy tasting TATORS again using his new TATOR Gun given to him by Miss Anne.
