Hey ...
Team LODGE had a great weekend. Yep ... Joe and Myself wanted to catch some more fish for the upcoming ...
Gators & Tators II cookout this Saturday / NOV. 1.
So, ... we recruited the help of Outdoorsmen and Good Friend Marc Stone of Waverly, IL. It was a cold morning ... with the temps. at 42 degrees and the wind ... the WIND was blowing bad. But , ... this trio had a plan and a mission
to add to the cookout some nice Bass & Blue Gill filets.
And ... that we did !!!
Marc is jigging the bait ... just off the moss edge and the bass were attaching. Marc had a string of 7 straight casts and 7 fish reeled in.
Joe, with his hood up ... fighting off the wind still managed to reel in the fish ....
Although none of the Bass were very large .... we caught lot's of nice ones like this one !
You can tell by the stringer .... we were doing pretty good.
Yep , ... the morning ended with 40 Bass and Blue gill in about 45 minutes. They sure will be good eating this Saturday at Gators & Tators II.
( and remember ... Ed Schneider Outdoor Writer for Adventure Sports Outdoors will be attending )

Now ... here's a SPECIAL section for a upcoming "Outdoor Gal" ....
so hello to... LAYLA KAY !!!
Here is LODGEMAN - Senior. Yeah that's right , ... here's the dude responsible for creating the desire I have for hunting, fishing and trapping. I grew up watching the Ole man go duck hunting, quail hunting, bass fishing , ... and my best memories are from our squirrel hunting trips. I think Dad is pinching Layla's leg and that's why she's yelling for help ?
I realized Dad was upsetting little miss Layla .... so Ole LODGEMAN quickly stepped in showing my softer side and Layla said .... " Damn, ... thanks Uncle Jeff for saving me " Yeah, ... this is my GREAT Niece ... and her Mom can't wait until she's a Lodge Girl !!!
