Say hello to Jim and Linda Piper ....

"The Iowa Team Lodge members"

I've had the pleasure of hunting with "Piper" on several occasions up in Iowa over the past few years. Jim's a good man with hunting in his blood. He hunts deer in Iowa, Missouri, Wyoming, ... and maybe other states as well. His wife and hunting partner Linda has been busy whacking spring gobblers ... and I'm looking forward to seeing the success they have in 2009.

I'll have more information on this Husband and Wife hunting team later, but until then, ... enjoy a few photos that I have.

Welcome aboard Jim and Linda !

Above Linda packs out a heavy Spring Tom. Look at that beard hanging down.
Ahh, ... the smile of a successful hunter .... Linda can hunt those gobblers.
The walk back to the truck .... that bird might get heavy, ... but it's worth every step.
Once on the tailgate, ... all hunters start checking out the beard and spurs.

Below, ... Piper shows off a 2007 Wyoming Mule Deer. Jim's a DIY hunter. That's "Do it Yourself". He hunts near where I try to find Mule Deer, ... I know I'd like to saw this deer first !
Right there is what all hunters going west want to see. A nice big muley .... down from a well placed shot.

JIm and Linda's page is under construction .... so check back often as I post more photos and some information about them too. But, ... until then, thanks to both for joining up with us ... we look forward to the many hunts.
