proved my point this weekend. I've heard of the deer stand Joey was
building. Heck, ... I even helped him unload lumber and windows. Yeah,
that's right, I said windows. Well, ... it was a cold day, ... but since we
scheduled a "Grand Opening" ... we marched ahead and had a party.
I hope you all enjoy the peek into "my world" ... or shall I say ... the
world I married into ?  Here ... in the cold icy field, stands ... "The Taj Mahal"
We started showing up early in the morning to have fun. The heater
did not do too bad ... considering it was 2 degrees and the wind was
blowing something terrible. Well, ... the cold did not stop the travelers.  Here, ... Joey and Sarah make their way to the party. Sarah'a sister Lindsey, and her friend Cara were running late. They had
Wally ( the horse ) racing to get to the party !  They let the horse get stuck on the side of the road .... and had to walk
all the way back to the Taj Mahal. ( Lindsey is on the left and Cara is on
the right ) To my surprize, the black throws they used during the ride
kept them fairly warm.  Many others kept arriving and the party was going great !!!  Here's the Palace ... it stands some 12 foot tall, ... and measures, I think
10 X 12. Soon it will hold a couch, love seat and flat screen TV.  From the window of the Taj ... I spotted a Cardinal wanting to join us.  Inside the Taj .... Trey voices his opinion about being a loyal Cardinal
Fan. He's saying ... YEAH ... GO CARDS !  While Heather is all smiles after winning the Deer Antler Mushroom
Earrings as the door prize. She also is excited to join as a Outdoor
Girl and or LODGE Girl too !!!  And, ... speaking of doors ... Here the Taj's Door !  If you don't think the Taj Mahal is really a deer stand, ... Here's Parker

the Taj's first deer is one impressive beauty.  OK , ... remember Lindsey and Cara , ... they really did get stuck.
Now, ... I'm not sure who actually got stuck ... but Lindsey is showing
her skills as she spins the tires. OK , ... the Taj Mahal is Joey Fryer's new deer stand. Maybe a few
things were fabricated and the actual events didn't unfold the way I
stated. But, ... The girls above DID get stuck, and Parker Dixson DID
harvest one nice 10 point Missouri buck earlier during the rifle season.
Miss Heather DID receive a pair of earrings, ... and she can certainly be
a Outdoor Girl if she wants, I DID see a cardinal and Trey DID trow a fit,
and lastly, the Horse and buggies were out and about in ZERO degree weather.
