I actually do taxidermy ... really I do !
Every now and then, ... a unique mount comes to me. I'm sure there are other taxidermists that do cool stuff all the time. Well, ... I mount Deer Heads for the most part. It's my speciality. But, ... once in a while for me, ... a cool mount happens along. My childhood buddy, ... Scott VanDeVender gave me a possum. I thought, ... why do I want a possum ? Well, ... I normally don't show photos of a work in progress ... but this really is one cool possum.
Partial Albino
Once I pull the pins, ... and place him on a limb with a nice scene, he'll look great. But, I've never saw a partial albino possum. His ears are black ... like a normal possum ( they are carded here ) and with the exception of a little yellowish chest hair ... he is all white. For a possum ... I think it's pretty neat. If anyone has seen a white possum before ... let me know.
