Say hello to ...
Ray and George Wood from Northern Illinois.
They came down to hunt on Outlaw's farm this past weekend. Ray and George both used muzzle loaders and these guys sure can shoot. George took down a pair of boars mid-afternoon, ... while Ray hunted until last light and caught one heading to a open water source from a running overflow from a small pond.
George Wood dropped the hammer on a pair of Black Boars after putting a stalk on ... and crept up to near 100 yards.
Outlaw and myself can not help but jump in the photos ...
Ray Wood stayed out late and caught this Red Boar heading to a overflow pipe as the last light in the sky was about to disappear. I'm not sure how he pulled off such a good shot.
You see George's muzzle loader ... That's a octagon barrel "Old School" gun. George didn't say just how old it was, ... but stated it's killed more game than he can remember. I believe him. That was one sweet gun. And, ... since Mr. Old School was in the Outlaw Barn ... we introduced George to some "New School" methods. Our lures are doing the trick. Yeah, ... Old School and New School working good.
Outlaw went out that morning and placed a trail of scent that no boar could stay away from. He used all three ... Sex Sow, Feral Frenzy, and Boar Blast. All we know ... this stuff smells and hogs always seem to check it out. If you want to kill a hog ... ANYWHERE ... using this will make it happen.
